Join Dovetail Chicago as we welcome the art of local photographer Jim Newberry. Jim's website humbly describes him as a "highly experienced, easy to get along with, widely published photographer with a studio in Chicago (and available for travel)." The not-so-humble description would read: Jim Newberry is an exceptionally talented, versatile photographer whose work has appeared in numerous publications, including Rolling Stone and Spin and his subjects include musicians such as Paul McCartney, Joanna Newsom, and Andrew Bird. When he's not shooting portraits of famous people, he's snapping artistic photos on the streets of Chicago. Please join us April 2 on the opening night of Jim Newberry's month-long show at Dovetail.
